Susan Snyder, DDS

A board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Susan Snyder, DMD, MD,  completed her six-year oral surgery residency at the University of Kentucky. As part of her training, she earned her medical degree, graduating with distinction, and completed training as an Anesthesia resident physician and a General Surgery preliminary year. Born and raised in Fresno, California, she moved to New York to attend Barnard College of Columbia University where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.  At Boston University she completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine on a merit scholarship, graduating summa cum laude and first in her class. In Long Island, New York, Dr. Snyder worked in a broad-scope oral surgery practice as an associate prior to joining Novato Oral Surgery.

Her broad interest in oral surgery includes dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, tissue regeneration and bone grafting, nerve repair, trauma, benign pathology, temporomandibular joint and orthognathic surgery.  She volunteered regularly at the Lexington Mission Clinic and Remote Area Medical while in residency. She also volunteered with CLAYPA, a cleft lip and palate organization in Mexico. 

Bringing with her more than eight years of diverse experience, Dr. Snyder offers top surgical care to patients at Novato Oral Surgery located in Novato, California, and the surrounding Marin County and San Francisco Bay area.
